Diagnosis
A dissorophid temnospondyl. Distinguished by cranial roof ornamentation with distinctive pit-and-ridge pattern, and postcranial skeletal features including expanded tabular horns.
Remarks
The type specimen (IGCAGSV365) includes skull roof, mandible, and associated postcranial elements. Anakamacops represents one of the few known dissorophids from the Permian of China. The species was originally described from the Jiucaiyuan Formation.
