Diagnosis
Very similar to Glyptagnostus stolidotus, with alternating radiating ornament near the border, median furrow distinct. Pygidial axis divided into three rings, anterior two narrow; a long median node arising from the first ring begins, passes through the second ring, its end protruding into the front of the third axial ring. The third axial ring is elongate-suboval, with two rows of small pits longitudinally dividing it into three equal parts; border narrow, a pair of small marginal spines on each side.
Remarks
Typical body length about 0.2-1.2 cm, the GSSP index fossil of the Cambrian Furongian Jiangshanian Stage.
