Diagnosis
Dorsal shield elongate-oval, surface densely tuberculate. Glabella large and broad, barrel-conical, rounded and pointed anteriorly; frontal lobe strongly swollen and bulbous, sloping steeply forward and downward; with two pairs of glabellar furrows, the posterior pair connected medially; occipital furrow deeper and narrower laterally, shallower and broader medially; occipital ring similar to the occipital lobe, with a node; intraocular area narrow, palpebral lobe long, its posterior end reaching the level of the occipital furrow On, close to the glabella; Preocular area triangular, anterior border narrow and convex, without inner margin; Anterior branch of facial suture short, at about 80 degrees to the cranidial midline; Posterior branch extremely short; Free cheek broad, genal spine stout, intergenal spine present. Thorax of 16 segments, axial rings bearing axial nodes, segment 12 with a short axial spine. Pygidium small and semicircular.
