Diagnosis
An opisthoparian trilobite. Cranidium trapezoidal; glabella wide and short, truncate-conical, with 3 pairs of glabellar furrows; occipital furrow deep, occipital ring short, occipital spine strong; fixigenae flat, posterior wings triangular; palpebral lobes small, eye ridges long; preglabellar field long; anterior border narrow with slightly recurved anterior margin; anterior branches of facial sutures nearly parallel; librigenae wide with long genal spines. Thorax of 12 segments; an extremely long axial spine arising from segment 8; pleural furrows wide and deep, pleural spines short and pointed. Pygidium small, semicircular to subtriangular; axis conical with pointed posterior end reaching the border; border extremely narrow.
Remarks
This species is the type species of the genus Chekiangaspis.
