Diagnosis

Dorsal shield ovate. Glabella strongly convex, anterior lobe strongly expanded and constricted medially; three pairs of glabellar furrows connected medially; palpebral lobes small, on the level of the second pair of glabellar furrows; anterior branches of the facial sutures meeting at the anterior margin of the glabella, proparian; dorsal-ventral doublure extended into a double cephalic spine; librigenae oblique-triangular, border evenly studded with 9 slightly unequal spines; fixigenae narrow, stout long genal spines from the genal angles, each bearing two rows of over ten subsidiary spines arranged three-dimensionally at about 120 degrees. Thorax rectangular, wider than long; 11 segments. Pygidium large, triangular; axis with more than 40 rings, pygidial pleural segments about 12, pleural spines undeveloped, a distinct border present.
