Diagnosis

Glabella subspherically convex, without glabellar furrows, bearing coarse tubercles; eyes small, convex; proparian facial sutures; librigenae small; fixigenae small with fine tubercles, genal spines stout. Thorax of 9 segments; axis narrow; pleurae unfurrowed and mutually separated, with sharp ends. Pygidium with 2 pairs of pleural spines, the anterior pair relatively short, the posterior pair strong, spreading at a larger angle in large individuals; an elliptical pit medially, containing two axial rings.
