Cephalon transversely wide, densely covered with nodes; glabellar median lobe long with three pairs of glabellar lateral lobes; a pair of strong hook-shaped occipital spines; librigenae narrow with long, backward-curved genal spines; eyes small and convex. Thorax of nine segments; axis narrower than pleurae, the last few segments with faint paired axial spines; pleural spines of the first three pairs short and laterally extended, pairs 4, 6 and 7 extremely long and curved backward, pairs 8 and 9 short and small, and the pleural spines of segment 5 extremely short. Pygidium triangular; axis of two rings; pleural ribs extended into a pair of pygidial spines, without accessory spines.
