Diagnosis
Dorsal shield ovate with large cephalon and small pygidium, frosted surface. Cephalon broad-semi-elliptical; cranidium slightly trapezoidal; glabella short and convex, truncate-conical with broadly rounded front; three pairs of deeply impressed glabellar furrows; dorsal furrows wide and deep; occipital furrow deep; occipital ring of uniform width; anterior border narrow and convex; preglabellar field wide; eyes about 4/5 the glabellar length, semicircular, eye furrow distinct; eye ridges stout and slightly weak; fixigenae relatively wide in the palpebral area; posterior wings extremely narrow and extending very long outward; anterior branches of facial sutures expanding outward-forward almost in a straight line; posterior branches nearly parallel to the posterior margin. Thorax of 13 segments; axis convex, narrowing gradually backward; pleurae relatively wide, pleural segments extending outward horizontally then obliquely backward at 2/3 the width, pleural furrows wide and deep, pleural spines short with upturned ends. Pygidium broad-semi-elliptical, about one-third as long as wide; axis narrow, reaching almost to the border, with about four rings; pleural furrows in three segments; border narrowing from the sides toward the middle.
