Diagnosis
Whole body covered with reticulate furrows; the remaining diagnostic characters are similar to Glyptagnostus stolidotus. For example, the glabella is divided into two segments, the frontal segment nearly square, and the middle of the posterior segment raised into a small node. Pygidial axis long, divided into three rings; second ring with a relatively large prominent node; border furrow narrow and deep, border narrow, with a pair of small marginal spines.
Remarks
This species is the type species of Glyptagnostus, typical body length about 0.2-1.2 cm, the GSSP index fossil of the Cambrian Furongian Paibian Stage.
