Diagnosis
Cephalon and pygidium nearly round, cheek and pleural region with dense fine nodose ornament. Cheek with alternating long and short radiating furrows; preglabellar median furrow distinct; glabellar frontal lobe triangular, anterior part with short, weak anterior pit; middle of posterior lobe raised club-like, with short spines posteriorly; basal lobe small; border and border furrow both narrow; with short posterolateral spines. Second thoracic segment with axial spine. Pygidial axis slender long, mid-posterior part of the posterior lobe with transverse depression containing a small secondary median node; postaxial median furrow well developed; pygidial border broad, border furrow shallow; pygidial lateral spines short and small or absent.
Remarks
This species is the type species of Goniagnostus.
