Diagnosis
Dorsal shield with fine terrace lines. Cephalon semicircular and strongly convex; cranidium subquadrate; glabella with parallel sides; eye of moderate size, situated behind the midlength of the cranidium; anterior facial suture branches extending from the eye slightly expanding forward, cutting the anterior border in a rounded corner; free cheek broad, triangular, pointed anteriorly, with a rounded genal angle posteriorly. Thorax of ten segments; axis strongly convex, nearly equal in width to the pleural lobes; pleural ribs with broad articulating facets, without pleural spines. Pygidium parabolic; axis inversely conical, short and narrow; pleural lobes flat and horizontal adaxially, sloping downward abaxially; without pygidial border.
