Diagnosis
Dorsal shield gently convex, ovate to long-ovate. Cranidium subtrapezoidal; glabella truncate-conical with rounded front and 3-4 pairs of shallow, wide glabellar furrows; occipital furrow shallow; occipital ring semi-elliptical with a small median node; dorsal furrows deep; preglabellar field wide; anterior border narrow, convex, slightly triangular; fixigenae medium-wide; anterior branches of facial sutures extending forward nearly parallel from the anterior end of the palpebral lobes; librigenae medium with slender long genal spines; eye ridges stout, palpebral lobes large, about half the glabellar length. Thorax of 13 segments; axis convex, tapering backward; pleurae extending straight, with recurved sickle- shaped spines at their distal ends. Pygidium extremely small, axis divided into two rings.
Remarks
This species is the type species of the genus Kailiella.
