Diagnosis
Specimens rather small, dorsal shield circular. Cephalon somewhat semicircular; glabella pear-shaped, strongly convex, widening from back to front, front rounded and spineless, extending slightly beyond the cephalon, glabellar furrows short and in- distinct; occipital ring extremely narrow and convex; genal spines slender and long. Thorax of 3 segments; axis narrow; pleurae straight with deep pleural and interpleural furrows. Pygidium semicircular; axis narrow, conical, extending backward to the bor- der, with 9-10 rings; pleural region wide, with a pair of peculiar annular longitudinal furrows running in a ring from the anterior to the posterior margin of the pygidium; border and border furrow indistinct.
Remarks
This species is the type species of the genus Kongqiaoheia.
