Diagnosis
Dorsal shield densely covered with nodes of varying size. Anterior glabellar lobe expanded forward, S1 and S2 deep, S3 undifferentiated, L1 long; occipital ring longitudinally long with a median node; palpebral lobes raised; eye ridges long; librigenal genal spines stout and long. Thorax preserved only as incomplete segments. Pygidium subsemicircular; axis of three isolated axial rings; pleural region with fenestrae ovate to elliptical; 3 pygidial marginal spines, the me- dian short and the lateral two long.
Remarks
This species is the type species of the genus Laethoprusia.
