Surface with sparse nodes. Cephalon rounded-trapezoidal; anterior border of cranidium short medially; a single occipital spine at the posterior middle of the occipital ring; fixigenae narrow in the palpebral area; kidney-shaped L1 weakly separated from teardrop-shaped L2; librigenae with 14 small lobe-like marginal spines lengthening backward, genal spines with stout bases and ends curved inward from the posterolateral side, relatively short for the genus Leonaspis. Thorax of 9 segments; pleural furrows shallow; pleural spines of the anterior 3 segments short, those of the rest long, the fifth pair longest. Pygidium rather small; two axial rings and a degenerate terminal piece, both axial rings with a pair of nodes; 4 pairs of marginal spines, the second pair longest.
