hybus, from Greek hybos, raised, referring to the convex posterior glabellar lobe.

Small agnostid, cephalon more strongly convex than pygidium. Without glabellar frontal lobe, posterior lobe strongly convex, terminal end rounded, median node obscure; border fine ridge-like, border furrow narrow and fine. Pygidium no border furrow, pygidial axis stout, terminal end subacutely rounded, border broad and flat.
