Diagnosis

Compared with the type species Mioptychopyge trinodosa: the palpebral lobes are smaller, the thoracic axis bears two rows of axial nodes, the pygidial axis bears faint nodes, and the pleural ribs and furrows of the pygidium are more distinct.
