Diagnosis
Dorsal shield ovate. Anterior margin of cranidium rounded, without a border; glabella indistinct, without glabellar furrows, with a median node posteriorly; occipital furrow narrow and shallow; occipital ring longitudinally very short; dorsal furrows more distinct behind the palpebral lobes; palpebral lobes medium-sized; posterior wings triangular with a posterior border; librigenae wide with genal spines. Thorax of 8 segments; axis slightly narrower than pleurae; pleural furrows deep, pleural ends rounded. Pygidium semi-elliptical; axis slightly flat; pleural region smooth; no distinct border.
Remarks
This species is the type species of the genus Neopsilocephalina.
