Diagnosis
Dorsal shield narrow and long. Cephalon hexagonal, with a long spine of equal length projecting from each corner; glabella cylindrical or conical, with three pairs of glabellar furrows; occipital ring with obscure median node; palpebral lobe small. Thorax of 9 segments, 3rd and 6th segments macropleural; pleural region narrow; 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th pleural segments without pleural spines. Pygidium very small.
Remarks
This species is the type species of the genus Olenelloides, with a maximum body length of about 1 cm.
