Diagnosis
Compared with Olenus austriacus: the surface is ornamented with dense fine dots; the glabella is slightly trapezoidal with a curved front; the thoracic axis is wide anteriorly and narrow posteriorly; the pygidium is longitudinally short. Compared with Olenus punctatus: the front of the glabella is curved, and there are fewer thoracic segments, 12 in total.
