Diagnosis
Dorsal shield ovate, smooth, cephalon and pygidium subequal. Cephalon semicircular; glabella short, truncate-conical with rounded front and 3 pairs of shallow lateral glabellar furrows; preglabellar field rather narrow; anterior border ex- tremely wide, clearly demarcated from the preglabellar field; fixigenae narrow in the palpebral area; palpebral lobes short, less than one-third the glabellar length; eye ridges distinct; librigenae wide with short stout genal spines. Thorax of 8 segments; pleurae much wider than the axis; pleural furrows distinct. Pygidium semi-elliptical; axis short and narrow, divided into 7-8 rings; pleural region wide and flat with rather shallow pleural furrows; border extremely wide and flat, slightly concave medially. Compared with the type species, the palpebral lobes are smaller.
