Diagnosis

Dorsal shield broadly oval; cranidium broad; glabella broad, broadly conical, with three backward-curved glabellar furrows; outer border broad with distinct terrace lines; inner border narrow, the inner side of the anterior border with a row of pits; With a row of small pores laterally; Preocular area very long transversely, narrow longitudinally, anterior branch of facial suture flat and long; Posterior limb also relatively narrow and long; Free cheek very broad and relatively flat, genal spines long and straight, extendable to the pygidium Part. With fifteen thoracic segments, gradually shortening backward, 11th segment with a very slender, long axial spine whose length can equal the body length; Pleural spines long, 8th-14th segments the pleural spines of segments 8-14 distinctly longer than the others. Pygidium small and quadratic, with one protuberance on each side, posterior margin arched backward.

Remarks

One of the largest trilobites of the Guanshan fauna, the largest individuals reaching 20 cm.
