Diagnosis
Dorsal shield elongate-elliptical, surface covered with tubercles. Cephalon semicircular; glabella long-cylindrical, slightly constricted medially; three pairs of glabellar furrows, S1 crossing the glabella and arched backward, S2 shallower, S3 faint; occipital furrow straight, occipital ring wide; dorsal furrows wide and deep; palpebral lobes large with wide eye furrows; anterior branches of facial sutures slightly divergent forward, posterior branches oblique backward-outward; fixigenae extremely narrow; anterior border wide, tri- angularly protruding forward; librigenae wide with extremely long genal spines, the anterior parts of the librigenae extending forward in a spine-like manner around the anterior border. Thorax of 11 segments, axis subequal in width to pleurae; pleural furrows wide and deep, pleural spines short. Pygidium small, subfusiform; axis of three rings plus a terminal piece, reaching the border; pleural furrows deep; border narrow.
