Diagnosis
Dorsal shield long-ovate. Cephalon transversely wide; cranidium convex with sparse small nodes; glabella truncate-conical with rounded front reaching the anterior border; two pairs of oblique glabellar furrows, the posterior pair long and deep; dorsal furrows distinct; preglabellar field absent; palpebral lobes arcuate, of medium length, strongly raised on the fixigenae, located in the mid-posterior part of the glabella; eye ridges short and weak; fixigenae narrow and convex between the eyes, highest near the palpebral lobes; librigenae very wide with extremely short, bifurcate genal spines. Thorax of 12 segments, axis tapering gradually; pleural furrows distinct, pleural spines short. Pygidium semicircular; axis inverted-conical with 4 rings and a larger terminal piece; 7 pairs of short marginal spines of roughly equal length; pygidial border absent.
Remarks
This species is the type species of the genus Taitzehoia.
