Diagnosis

Dorsal shield oval. Cephalon semicircular; glabella subcylindrical, sides slightly converging inward, four pairs of glabellar furrows, S1 oblique and connected medially; posterior margin of occipital ring with a small occipital node; palpebral lobe rather long; eye Ridges extremely narrow; Ocular area of fixed cheek small; Anterior border long (longitudinally); Preglabellar field long (longitudinally); Free cheek broad, intergenal angle almost absent, genal spines stout, of moderate length. Thorax of 15 segments; ridge extremely narrow; palpebral area of fixed cheek small; outer border long (longitudinally); preglabellar field long (longitudinally); free cheek broad, intergenal angle nearly absent, genal spine stout and of moderate length. Thorax of 15 segments; axis nearly as wide as the pleural lobes, with axial nodes; pleural ribs extending transversely, pleural furrows broad and deep, pleural spines short. Pygidium small, with one fused segment; axis broad, with a pair of rounded prominences.
