Cephalon semicircular, anterior border wide and protruding forward medially, border furrow deep. Anterior glabellar lobe subrhomboidal; three pairs of glabellar furrows, S3 deep and strongly expanded outward; eyes semicircular, large and raised, composed of 32 rows of dorsoventral lenses; proparian facial sutures; fixigenae with stout long genal spines reaching the anterior margin of the pygidium. Thorax of 11 segments; axis narrower than pleurae; pleural furrows wide and deep, ends sharp. Pygidium wide-subtriangular; axis long-conical, reaching the border, with 10 rings plus a terminal piece; pleural and interpleural furrows distinct; border wide, concave medially.

This species is the type species of the genus Waukeshaaspis, and the median concavity of its pygidial border is very rare among dalmanitids.
