Synonyms

Diagnosis

Cephalon and pygidium oval, axis nearly one-third as wide as the body; glabella, dorsal furrow, basal lobes and pygidial axis all greatly effaced. Cephalic border absent or ridge-like. Pygidial border Narrower laterally and wider medially, the median width decreasing with increasing body size; border furrow broad and deep; no lateral spines. Compared with Yakutiana dubium, the body is more elongate.

Remarks

This genus was originally named Pseudophalacroma, a junior homonym of a protozoan genus; in 2009 it was replaced by Yakutiana (Özdikmen).
