Dorsal shield tuberculate. Cranidium with fine and scattered large tubercles; glabella convex, truncate-conical with rounded front and three pairs of isolated glabellar furrows; S1 deep and long, inclined inward and backward; S2 short, S3 faint; preglabellar field wide and flat, slightly upturned; anterior border very narrow, slightly convex; occipital furrow wide, slightly arched forward medially; occipital ring of nearly uniform width with a small median node; palpebral lobes medium-sized, elevated; eye ridges faint; anterior branches of facial sutures nearly parallel, posterior branches oblique. Thorax of 12 segments, axis narrower than pleurae; pleural furrows dis tinct; pleural spines of medium length. Pygidium subtriangular apart from spines; axis conical; pleural ribs prominent; first pair of pygidial spines large and upturned, pairs 2-4 short, the others unknown.

The first complete dorsal exoskeleton of this species was discovered and published by Xinghuanhao Designer, a fossil enthusiast from Shandong.
