Diagnosis
Dorsal shield verrucose. Cranidium wide; glabella conical with four pairs of glabellar furrows, L1 slightly inverted V-shaped; occipital ring with a median node; palpebral lobes convex; preglabellar field depressed; anterior border narrow and upturned; librigenae with long genal spines bearing denticles. Thorax of 12 segments; axis slightly narrower than pleurae; pleural furrows transverse, pleural spines long with denticles. Pygidium triangular apart from spines; axis long-conical; border narrow with 7 pairs of spines of different lengths, the first and sixth pairs longest, all bearing denticles.
Remarks
This species occurs in the Damesella paronai Zone and may be the earliest member of the genus Blackwelderia.
