Diagnosis

A proparian trilobite with ovate dorsal shield, surface with small nodes. Cephalon semicircular; glabella subrectangular with three pairs of subequal, medially isolated glabellar furrows; dorsal furrows deep; fixigenae with large posterior wings and short small genal spines; occipital ring slightly larger medially; occipital furrow deep; eyes rather small; librigenae small, triangular. Thorax of 11 segments, axis narrower than pleurae; pleurae divided by a fulcral line into two parts, the anterior part with oblique pleural furrows, pleural spines blade-like. Pygidium semi-elliptical; three axial rings plus a terminal piece; serrate margin.
