Diagnosis
Cephalon and pygidium subequal in size, surface smooth. Cranidium subtrapezoidal; glabella cylindrical with rounded front, smooth, without glabellar or occipital furrows; fixigenae about half the glabellar width; anterior border strongly upturned; palpebral lobes convex, about one-third the glabellar length; anterior branches of facial sutures extending slightly outward-forward from the anterior ends of the palpebral lobes, then turning inward, cutting the cranidial margin in an arc; librigenae wide with small genal spines. Thorax of 8 segments; axis narrower than the glabella; pleural lobes flat, anterior pleural spines rather sharp, posterior ones rounded. Pygidium semicircular, about half as long as wide; axis narrow, inverted-conical, with a distinct postaxial ridge; pleural furrows rather shallow; border furrow indistinct; outer margin of the border raised as an arcuate ridge.
