Diagnosis
Cranidium ornamented with fine dense tubercles, bearing two pairs of intergenal spines; glabella trapezoidal, sloping downward anteriorly, with three pairs of faint glabellar furrows; anterior border narrow; preglabellar field absent; occipital furrow deep; occipital ring of uniform width with a faint median node; palpebral lobes short; eye ridges short; fixigenae narrow in the palpebral area, subtriangular behind the eyes; posterior border furrow narrow. Pygidium irregularly hexagonal apart from spines; axis large, densely tuberculate, inverted-conical with rounded, strongly convex posterior end, divided into four axial rings and a terminal lobe; pleural region narrow; two pairs of pygidial spines, the first pair long and strong, arising from the pleural region, the posterior pair slender, being marginal spines.
