Diagnosis
Opisthoparian micropygous trilobite. Glabella reaching the middle of the anterior border furrow, dorsal furrows undulating, anterior end flatly rounded, with a depressed notch medially; Four pairs of pit-like glabellar furrows, relatively deep longitudinal furrows connected, S1 connected by a shallow transverse furrow; palpebral lobe long, situated in the middle to posterior part of the cranidium; palpebral area of the fixed cheek broad, about two-thirds the width of the glabella, posterior limb short and narrow; free cheek with a broad-based rather long genal spine. Thorax of 9 segments, pleural spines of moderate length. Pygidium small; axis of 3 rings and 1 terminal piece; pygidial spines slender and long.

This species is the type species of Curvoryctocephalus.
