Diagnosis
Dorsal shield oval. Cephalon semicircular; glabella large, slightly expanding forward, rounded anteriorly, reaching the border furrow; four pairs of pit-like glabellar furrows, the posterior two pairs faint, the first pair slightly deeper and curved slightly backward; occipital furrow shallow and broad; fixed cheek flat; outer border broad and flat; palpebral lobe small; anterior facial suture branches subparallel, posterior branches directed outward and backward to the posterior margin; free cheek narrow, genal field broad and flat, extended backward into a genal spine. Thorax of 17 segments; axis tapering backward; pleural ribs nearly straight, their outer ends curving backward into flat pleural spines. Pygidium small, terminal end extended into a slender backward-projecting spine.
