Diagnosis
Micropygous trilobite, dorsal shield oval, densely covered with nodes or smooth. Cephalon semicircular; Glabella cylindrical; Four pairs of pit-like glabellar furrows, S1-S3 connected by shallow furrows, but none reaching the dorsal furrow; Dorsal furrow distinct; Fixed cheek extremely broad; Free cheek narrow, without genal spine; Eye ridge distinct; Palpebral lobe of moderate size. Thorax of 11 segments (possibly 12), axis about half as wide as the pleural region; pleural ribs rather broad, pleural furrows near the upper edge of the ribs, bluntly rounded terminally. Pygidium rather small, about twice as wide as long, without border, medially embayed.
