Diagnosis
Dorsal shield ovate. Cephalon semicircular; glabella short-cylindrical, median node at the middle of the glabella; occipital ring transversely narrow; cheeks densely ornamented with reticulate ridges and small shallow pits; genal ridges oblique; genal spines so long they may exceed the pygidium. Thorax of 6 segments, longitudinally shortening posteriorly; axis narrow, anterior lateral corners of each axial ring divided by a pair of oblique furrows into a pair of triangular anterior lateral lobes; pleural furrows narrow and shallow, bases raised. Pygidium subtriangular; axis conical, reaching the border furrow, with 18 rings and a terminal piece; pleural region with 16 segments, pleural furrows distinct, interpleural furrows faint, each segment raised adaxially.
