Diagnosis
Cranidium subsquare; glabella slightly hourglass-shaped, three pairs of unconnected glabellar furrows; preglabellar field and palpebral area both relatively large; palpebral lobe nearly as long as the eye ridge, both relatively prominent; free cheek small and narrow, genal spines of moderate length. Thorax of 13 segments; axis nearly as wide as the pleural lobes; pleural furrows broad and deep, pleural spines short. Pygidium small and transversely wide; terminal axial segment bilobed; two pairs of hooked marginal spines.
Remarks
This species is the type species of Estaingia.
