Diagnosis
Dorsal shield ovate. Cephalon semicircular; cranidium trapezoidal; dorsal furrow broad and fairly deep; glabella strongly convex, cylindrical or slightly expanding forward, broadly rounded anteriorly, with three pairs of shallow glabellar furrows, S1 relatively deep and long, extending obliquely toward the occipital ring; Occipital ring relatively broad medially, with a small occipital node; Occipital furrow distinct; Fixed cheek between palpebral lobes narrow; Palpebral lobe moderately short, located at the glabellar S1 deeper and longer, directed obliquely toward the occipital ring; occipital ring widest medially with a small occipital node; occipital furrow distinct; fixed cheek between the palpebral lobes narrow; palpebral lobe of medium to short length, opposite the midlength of the glabella; eye ridge short; preglabellar field absent, anterior border narrow and convex, anterior border furrow fairly deep; anterior facial suture branches extending forward and outward from the anterior part of the palpebral lobe, posterior branches directed obliquely to the side and rear from its posterior end; posterior limb of medium width; posterior border narrow and convex, posterior border furrow fairly deep; free cheek broad with a short genal spine. Thorax of eight segments, each with a node; pleural furrows broad and deep; pleural spines short or absent. Pygidium semicircular; axis convex, of 5-6 rings, its posterior end close to the pygidial border; four pairs of rather deep pleural furrows; no pygidial border furrow observed. directed obliquely to the rear; posterior limb of medium width; posterior border narrow and convex, posterior border furrow fairly deep; free cheek broad, with a short genal spine. Thorax of eight segments, each with a node; pleural furrows broad and deep; ple ural spines short or absent. Pygidium semicircular; axis convex, of 5-6 rings, its posterior end close to the pygidial margin; four pairs of rather deep pleural furrows; no pygidial border furrow observed.
