Diagnosis
Dorsal shield ornamented with nodes of varying size. Glabella elliptical-spherical with three pairs of glabellar lateral furrows, the anterior two pairs extremely short; occipital ring longitudinally short, slightly widening at the ends; fixigenae small, longitudinally very short and trans- versely wide, subtriangular, a pair of long tapering genal spines extending backward-laterally from the genal angles; palpebral lobes small, semicircular; proparian facial sutures. Thorax of 9 or more segments (9 preserved); axis convex with wide deep axial furrows and roughly parallel sides; pleurae horizontal, each independent and unconnected but closely packed, surface with nodes and spines, ends pointed and curved backward-laterally. Pygidium rectangular, wider than long; axis short and wide, of one ring, sides parallel; first pair of pleural furrows extending obliquely backward-laterally from both sides of the pygidial axial end, second pair degenerated into a pair of pygidial pits; pleural spines rather long and pointed, the anterior pair extending horizontally outward, subequal to the posterior pair, which extend backward.
