Diagnosis

Dorsal shield ovate. Glabella strongly convex, elongate-columnar, sides parallel, slightly constricted at midlength, broadly rounded anteriorly, with four pairs of shallow, narrow glabellar furrows; occipital ring with triangular lateral occipital lobes and a relatively long occipital spine; dorsal furrow distinct; fixed cheek extremely narrow; anterior border gently raised, preglabellar field broad and flat, about as wide as the anterior border; palpebral lobe long and strongly arcuate, its posterior end almost reaching the level of the occipital furrow; Horizontal position; Free cheek very broad, with long genal spines. Thorax of 8 segments, each with axial spine, 6th and 7th segments with longest spines. Pygidium broad, semicircular; Pygidial axis relatively narrow, divided into two to three rings and a free cheek very broad with a long genal spine. Thorax of 8 segments, each with an axial spine, those of segments 6 and 7 longest. Pygidium broad and semicircular; axis rather narrow, of 2-3 rings plus a terminal piece; border broad and flat.
