Diagnosis
Dorsal shield ovate to elliptical. Glabella bell-shaped, widest opposite the palpebral lobes; four pairs of glabellar furrows, S1 long and deep; eyes large, semicircular; librigenae wide with rather long genal spines. Thorax of 9 segments; axis subequal in width to pleurae; pleurae with pleural furrows, ends pointed or rounded. Pygidium parabolic to subtriangular; axis with 15 axial rings; pleural region with 10 pleural ribs; border wide.
