Diagnosis
Dorsal shield subcircular, largely smooth. Cephalon large, semicircular, occupying almost half the body length; glabella moderately convex with subparallel sides and rounded front, three pairs of glabellar furrows; occipital ring wide, occipital node occasionally visible; anterior median glabellar furrow incomplete; anterior border convex; anterior border furrow shallow and wide; fixigenae wide; eyes medium-sized; eye ridges distinct; posterior border furrow deep; anterior branches of facial sutures first diverging then curving inward-forward; posterior branches short; librigenae wide with wide, long genal spines; cephalic doublure wide; rostral plate subtrapezoidal; conterminant hypostome, shield-shaped. Thorax of 8 segments; axis narrow; anterior four pleural segments with pleural spines and articulating facets; pleural furrows shallow and wide. Pygidium short and wide, subtriangular; axis conical with three axial rings and a terminal lobe; pleural furrows transverse; border narrow and convex.
