Diagnosis

Anterior margin of cranidium flatly rounded; glabella cylindrical with subparallel sides, glabellar furrows faint or absent, S1 occasionally visible; occipital ring with a small genal spine posteriorly; palpebral lobes large; eye ridges distinct; fixigenae in the palpebral area nearly as wide as the glabella; preglabellar field absent; librigenae medium-wide with short genal spines. Thorax of 9 segments; axis slender; pleural furrows wide and deep, pleural spines short and pointed. Pygidium semicircular to sub-elliptical; axis long, with 8 axial rings and a terminal piece; pleural region with wide deep pleural furrows and indistinct interpleural furrows; pygidial border rather narrow, slightly upturned.

Remarks

This species is the type species of the genus Wanshania.
