Diagnosis
Body large, surface smooth or with weak radiating furrows. Glabella divided into three segments, frontal lobe hexagonal, anterior part of posterior segment with a long median node; basal lobe large, triangular. Pygidium Axis stout, divided into three rings, first two rings with longitudinal axial nodes, posterior axial ring weakly tripartite; border furrow shallow and broad, with very short posterolateral spines.
Remarks
According to Lu Yanhao et al. (1989), the largest complete individuals of this species can exceed 3 cm in length, making it the largest agnostid in China.
