Diagnosis
This species occurs in the Damesella paronai horizon. Its cephalon closely resembles Monkaspis sp. 1, with the main differences: the glabella is short, nearly triangular, with a very wide base and indistinct lateral lobes; eyes small with long eye ridges; anterior branches of the facial sutures diverging at a small angle. The pygidial axis is slender and long; the border bears 8 pairs of spines, the median pair smaller.
