Nileus yichangensis

Dorsal shield long-ovate, smooth except for fine terrace lines on the articulating facets of the thoracic pleurae and the lateral border of the pygidium. Cephalon semicircular, strongly bent downward forward and anterolaterally; glabella faintly indicated, extremely wide, with a small node at one-third of the posterior length; dorsal furrows extremely shallow; fixigenae narrow and flat in the palpebral area; eyes extremely large and long, crescentic, of several thousand hexagonal lenses; librigenae wider posteriorly with rounded genal angles; anterior branches of facial sutures diverging forward from the eyes, then curving to meet at the front of the dorsal shield; posterior branches short and straight, extending backward-outward to cut the posterior margin; doublure with coarse terrace lines parallel to the anterior margin. Thorax of 8 segments; axis convex and extremely wide; pleural ends rounded, pleural spines absent. Pygidium subsemicircular, axis indistinct, without a posterior border.
