Diagnosis
Dorsal shield rather flat, circular. Cephalon crescentic, transversely extremely wide; glabella small, subsquare, with deep posterior longitudinal furrows; preglabellar field longitudinally extremely long; occipital furrow faint; occipital ring longitudinally short; genal lobes with radiating ornament; genal ridges distinct. Thorax of 6 or 9 segments; axis narrow, each axial ring with a pair of anterior lateral lobes and a median lobe; pleural lobes wide and flat, pleurae horizontal, pleural furrows narrow and shallow. Pygidium flat, sub- semicircular; axis with more than 12 rings; pleural and interpleural furrows numerous and distinct.
Remarks
This species is the type species of the genus Paradionide.
