Diagnosis
Dorsal shield ovate with subequal cephalon and pygidium. Cephalon parabolic to semicircular; glabella long, cylindrical, constricted medially, with three pairs of faint lateral glabellar furrows; preglabellar field wide and flat; eyes small, very close to the glabella; librigenae wide with medium-length genal spines. Thorax of 8 segments, axis narrow, slightly wider medially; pleurae wide with deep pleural furrows and no pleural spines. Pygidium subtriangular; axis long, tapering sharply anteriorly, reaching almost to the border; pleural and interpleural furrows distinct; border wide.
Remarks
This species is the type species of the genus Pseudogygites.
