Diagnosis
Dorsal shield ovate. Cephalon broad-semi-elliptical; glabella strongly convex with a long spine extending from the front, lateral lobes at the base; occipital and posterior border furrows both narrow and deep; fixigenae subtriangular, wide at the genal angle near the posterior border; librigenae narrow with long genal spines. Thorax of 5 segments; axis narrow; pleural region wide and flat with deep pleural furrows, pleural ends flat, pleural spines absent. Pygidium semi-elliptical; axis narrow, with 5 W-shaped axial rings; pleural region with 3 pleural furrows; border narrow, sloping steeply downward.
