Specimens small, dorsal shield subcircular, surface with transverse rows of extremely fine nodes. Cephalon subsemicircular; glabella strongly convex medially, narrow posteriorly and inflated forward, flask-shaped, with a median node in the mid-posterior part and three pairs of glabellar lateral furrows; occipital furrow deep, arched backward; occipital ring narrow, of uniform width, also arched backward, with a fine median node; dorsal furrows deep and wide beside the glabella, with a pair of large triangular lobe-like structures at the posterolateral sides; eyes absent; posterior border furrow deep, prominently protruding forward where it meets the lobe furrows. Thorax of 6 segments; axis narrow and convex; pleural region wide and flat with narrow pleural furrows, pleurae horizontal with rounded ends. Pygidium wide, semi-elliptical; axis of 5 rings plus a terminal piece; pleural region with pleural and interpleural furrows; border distinct.

This species is the type species of the genus Sinoluia.
